Video installation, 2019
Handnote is a video diary with frame-by-frame animation and montage of archiving resources. The protagonist is the artist’s left hand, the artwork is about her attempts to capture disappearing memories and explore women’s faith. The video features videos of hands of women shot in Hong Kong 30 years ago and classical oil paintings 300 years ago. It is also a documentation/ video self-portrait of the artist.
